Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have made it to the end of the school year and we would like to say well done to you all for co-operating with us and continuing to educate your son by making such an effort at home during this very difficult time. This is the last fortnight of work and as always there is no pressure to get everything done. Every June both the junior and senior Infants boys have a teddy bears picnic in school with all their teachers and their friends. Although we are not in school, we would like the boys to have a Teddy Bears picnic at home this week. For the last week of school we have included some active activities for the boys to complete for our sports week! Please take some time to get out in the fresh air and complete some fun sports day activities!
Finally, Happy Holidays and we hope you enjoy the Summer! We look forward to welcoming all the boys back in September.
Below are some suggestions of what you could do with the boys from June 15th – 26th.

Literacy in Junior and Senior Infants is most important so if you are going to pick one thing to do with your child, literacy is a great place to start.
Again, please do not feel under any pressure to get this work done, these are only suggestions! Reading a book, playing a game and having a conversation with your child is just as good so make the most of this time with your child and stay safe.
If you have any questions at all big or small please contact us at the email addresses given, we are more than happy to help and if you would like to send pictures of work / activities that the boys are doing at home we’d love to see them and reply to the boys.
P.S. Say hello to all the boys from us.

* Please note – Boys that go to learning support or language support – The learning and language support teachers have put work separately on the website for the boys they take. Please check the website for work specifically aimed at these boys.
