I hope you are well and keeping busy. When the weather is nice, its great to get some fresh air. If you have a garden, you could draw a map of it to practice place words.
There are links to worksheets to practice these words below.
The following are four websites with games on them to revise concepts that we have learned.
1. Numberline practice
2. Addition and subtraction tables. You can beat your score every time you practice.
3. Tens and units-the first level is a great way to revise place value to 19.
4. Revision of money.
Please don’t worry if you cannot get through the activities that I’ve assigned below. Choose a topic that interests you to get you going and just do your best. A little bit every day makes all the difference and will make school a bit easier when we return.
I can’t wait to get back to school, it feels like a very long time since we were all there.
Days of week: Write down the days of the week with help from Mum, then put them in order.
Practice half past the hour and o’clock times.
Have a look in the kitchen for a jug a cup and a large bowl.
How many cups of water does it take to fill the jug? How many did it take to fill the bowl.
Now have a look at milk, tomato ketchup and water bottles. What measurement do they show on the side -you should see ML. This is mililitres.
There are a thousand militres in a litre.
Please print and fill out the worksheets below. If you cant print them that’s ok. Talk to your Mum about where you would colour in to show that amount and why.
Please go over +6 and +7
