Week 1: Let’s Talk Literacy 4th class (Edco)

Comprehension: p42 Unit 10: Do Animals have feelings? Complete Q A1-8, Vocabulary exercises C and D.

Writing: A: Be a genre genius p45. Use the template to write an argument about dogs making good pets.

Grammar:  Contractions p44 Complete Exercises A and B

 

Week 2: Let’s Talk Literacy 4th class (Edco)

Comprehension: p46 Unit 11: Dear Willy Wonka Complete Q A 1-8, Vocabulary exercises C and D

Writing: A: Be a genre genius p49. Use the template to write an argument about children being allowed to have mobile phones.

Grammar: Apostrophe p48 Complete Exercises A and B

Continuing to practice your reading is really important during this time away from school. The boys should pick something they enjoy and spend a few minutes reading each day.

The topic of time is one area of Maths that we use in real life every day. Draw attention to time during the day and take note of it in your home.

Week 2:

Subtraction of time p59/60

For the subtraction of time pay attention to the orange box at the top of page 60 and remember that there are 60 minutes in an hour.
